Installation

Follow these steps to install your Raisonance products

Activate your software

1.      CD Installation:
-          Follow the instructions
-          Select the running mode for RIDE: Choose option “with serial number”
-          At the user information window: Create a user name and add your company information
-          Serialization: Enter the serial number you have received

2.      Once the installation has completed: Launch RIDE software:
-          Verify your software: Go to Help/About, click on 8051 Tool Chain and check the tool capabilities, click OK, close.
-          Activate your tool: Go to Help/Registration, Enter your serial number in the box and register from the web (the registration process will be performed automatically with this function if your firewall allows it). If your firewall does not allow this, or if you have already obtained an activation code from Raisonance support, click on:
          o        Modify Activation code
          o        Then go to the following page of the Raisonance web site:
                            http://www.mcu-raisonance.com/activation_code.html
          o        Add your company name, your serial number, and copy the serialization code from Ride6.
          o        Click to get your activation code.
          o        When you see the activation code, copy it into the relevant boxes in Ride6.
          o        Click on Register Activation Code.

Verify your registration has worked

Go to Help/About, click on 8051 Tool Chain and check the tool capabilities (the limitation should now correspond to the tool you have bought), click OK, close.

You can now use your software.
