Topic: STR750 programming problems

Hello.

I am new with using your product.
I can't program STR750 uP. I have downloaded and installed Ride7 version 7.28.10.0075 og RKit-ARM for Ride7 version 1.26.10.0130.

I have a STR750-EVAL demoboard.
I have made a .hex fil i Keil IDE that I would like to program into the flash.

In Rflasher I made a project. Selected the correct uP and imported the .hex fil.
when I press "Connect to RLink" it displays:

RLink Serial number is "dngSTD000012875"
WARNING: This Rlinkcan be used for ARM. Starter kit limitation applies:
Debug limited to 32Kb, in Flash and RAM modes.
Flash programming is not limited.

When I press "Connect to target" it displays:
JTAG Connection to target OK.
Target's IdCode is: 0x4F1F0041
Error 0x303 while trying to reset target for reading protection mask:
Unable to read debug controller status.

when I press "Program" it displays:
Unable to read debug controller status.

I hope someone can help me.

Hi,

This looks like a problem on the RST or TRST line.
These two signals are different and both required.

Please make sure that these two signals are both connected from the RLink to the STR7, and that they are NOT connected to each other. I think that on some ST boards, the two signals are connected by a jumper. In this case you need to unplug the jumper.
