Topic: confusion in 8051c

hi i am doing project using 8051 micro controlling .and  i am in cofusion whether 8051c microcontroller and AT89c51 microcointroller is the same thing

basically they are.  I do not know if basically could be replaced by exactly.

simply compare the SFR list in the datasheet and the SFR list in "the bible" and if anything is different, it will show up there.
