When I woke up this morning, I turned on the bathtub faucet, but once I switched it over to the hot side, water stopped coming out (as if I was putting it into the off position).

I just recently changed my showerhead with one of those that has a 6ft cord on it...not sure if that is related.

Hi, we use PSD8xx in our application. We use FlashLink adapter for programming PSD8xx and we have big problems with parallel port addressing.
We have several questions:
- Can we use RLink programmer for programming PSD8xx?
- Can we use RLink programmer with PSDSoft Express software and which version?
Thank you in advance for you reply.

running without usb connection

I am using the EM6819 development kit with V3.3 of the Reva board and V1.2 of the EM6819 daughterboard. I have programmed the NVM in the microcontroller, and it runs fine while connected to the PC and the Ride program through the USB cable. I would like to run the program on the eval board without it being connected to the computer.

I am providing a separate power supply through the power jack, and I have the source-select jumper set to "JACK." The "User Guide for the EM6819-based Daughter Board" says that in order to run without debug mode, I should jumper pins 1 and 3 together on the connector in the RLink area of the board, but when I try that, VCC on the board drops to nearly 0, and the "Power" LED goes off. If I don't connect that jumper, then the Power LED is on, but the board does not do anything. Is there anything else I need to do to make it run in a stand-alone mode? It seems that the RLink part of the schematics are not included in the documentation, which makes it difficult to debug this on my own.

Thanks,
Jeremy

schematics for Reva and daughterboards

I have version 3.3 of the Reva motherboard and V1.2 of the daughterboard for the EM6819. I would like to find schematics for both of them to help with designing my own custom board for the 6819. Does anyone know where either of these can be found. I believe the daughterboard (emrdg6819) is developed by EM-Micro, so maybe nobody here will have information on that. But a schematic for the Reva board would be a big help.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Hi All,

I'm developing an app to program devices in the field using ST-Micro's Standalone JTAG Programmer and the RLink-ST Standard. I'd like to know:

1) Is there a preinstaller for PC-side USB drivers?
2) Is there an updater for RLink dongle firmware?

Thanks for the help,

PSD813F5 programming problem with RLINK-ST

Hi all,

We have a problem when programming PSD813F5 chips with RLINK-ST.
The following error occurs:
"ERROR 772: Communication error: Timeout error sending on USB: WDU_Transfer() failed: error 0x20000015 ("TimeOut expired")"

Furthermore, we have no problem programming this chip with FlashLink and have also no problem programming PSD954F2 chips with RLINK ST.

Can you guys help us out on that?

Thanks in advance,

Did change to a new computer with an AMD Athlon X2 64bit Cpu.
It seems that Rlink does not work with a 64 bit CPU.
Is there any way around this.

( Have tried to run Rlink in a virtual machine(WmWareServer) and then get an other error instead.)
